# Renaissance Thinking for Modern Problems

Transforming Inclusive Learning with AI

I built an **interactive, step-by-step simulation** where students could _converse with key Renaissance figures_ like Leonardo da Vinci, and Machiavelli. I asked them how they would solve **modern-day problems** like climate change, social media, or global conflict.

But what really stood out to me as a Special Education teacher was how **Flint went beyond content generation**:

- It created **custom rubrics** aligned with learning objectives
- Offered **differentiated prompts** to support all learners
- Provided **scaffolded tasks and sentence starters** tailored for SPED students

This isn’t just edtech — it’s **equity-focused innovation** that meets students where they are while raising the bar for creativity and engagement.

**Comment from Medha Joshi**: We had students do a simulation where key Renaissance figures could discuss debatable questions in a Socratic seminar style with contemporary thinkers from different fields - one of our questions was whether it was better to be a polymath or a specialist. It was great for developing critical thinking and communication skills.
