Flint Memories from Year to Year

For students, teachers, and administrators, does Flint remember conversations from year to year, or is a user starting over each year with Flint getting to know it?
To get the most out of it this year, I had a conversation with Sparky yesterday where I established my “Memories” it has about me. I started off by asking Sparky what it needed to know about me to be more helpful in responses. It gave me this response:
Profile Information
Your role & subjects: What you teach, grade levels, specific courses
Your school context: Type of school, student demographics, any unique aspects
Your teaching style: Preferred approaches, philosophies, or methods
Preferences
Communication style: Do you prefer concise or detailed responses? Formal or conversational?
Activity types: What kinds of learning experiences do you like to create?
Tools & resources: Specific platforms, textbooks, or curricula you use
Interests for examples: Topics, sports teams, pop culture, or current events you like (these help me create relatable examples for students)
Goals & Challenges
What you're working on: Current initiatives, skills you're developing, areas of focus
Student needs: Common challenges your students face
What you want from Sparky: How you envision using me most effectively
I ended all my responses with “Is there any clarity you need about any of my answers?”. Once that conversation was complete, I looked at my Memories found in the profile settings and saw all my statements listed there. Since that interaction, I’ve noticed that Sparky’s responses are more in line with my goals and suggest ideas based on my preferences.
Conversation summary
The discussion centers on whether Flint retains user memories across school years or resets annually. Participants express enthusiasm about the feature and clarify that memories are saved within a workspace, which typically persists year to year unless multiple workspaces are used. Suggestions for managing memories across years, such as exporting summaries, are also shared.
