# Long Term Substitute teacher needs access to classes

Hi Flint People!

We have an English teacher who is out for the rest of the school year. Her long term substitute needs teacher access to her classes and students. The substitute has been added to Flint and can log in. What are our next steps?

## Responses

1. **Vinnie Vrotny:**  
   Open the groups the original teacher is the owner of and add the new teacher as an owner to these groups.

2. **James Bender:**  
   1. Go into the actual class (Flint calls them “Groups”).  
   2. Click on the “Share Group” button in the top right corner.  
   3. Under the section called “Members,” add the new teacher and use the drop down to give them the role of “Owner.”  
   4. Click the Star icon next to their name to make them “Creator” if you want them to access previous sessions.
