As a school admin, you can customize how Sparky interacts with students based on their grade level. This helps ensure age-appropriate communication and better learning support.
What are grade-level prompts?
Grade-level prompts let you customize the vocabulary and tone for students at different grade levels. For example, you might want Sparky to use simpler language with younger students and more academic language with older students.
Sparky uses school-appropriate language by default and will also automatically avoid internet slang (e.g., LMAO, WTF) to ensure professional communication with students.
How to add grade-level prompts
- Click "School Settings"
- Click "Sparky Customizations"
- Click "Add a grade-level prompt"
- Select grade levels
- Write your prompts
- Save your changes
How to add multiple prompts
You can add multiple grade-level prompts to customize Sparky's behavior for different age groups:
- After saving your first prompt, click "+ Add a grade-level prompt" again
- Select different grade levels
- Enter a new prompt tailored to that age group
How to remove a grade-level prompt
To remove a prompt, click the trash icon next to the prompt you want to delete, then save your changes.
