Math support
Flint now displays math notation using LaTeX-style formatting, and has a built-in equation editor to let students show their work on math problems. Additionally, Flint now has access to a powerful calculator behind the scenes, ensuring the accuracy of math, unlike other AI tools.
Evidence-based feedback
After submitting a session with an AI tutor, students (and their teachers) can now see a summary that includes hyperlinks showing exactly where a student displayed relative strengths or areas of improvement.
Grade and language level selectors
When creating or editing an AI tutor on Flint, teachers can select a specific grade or language level for the AI to communicate with students in. Standards currently supported are US (1st - University), UK (Year 1 - University), CEFR (A1 - C2), and ACTFL (Novice - Distinguished).
