Introducing Flint V4: improved ease of use and community templates!
A major UI refresh to Flint to introduce a simplified home page, easier navigation via a sidebar, and community templates for AI tutors.
We're excited to announce Flint V4! With this latest UI refresh, weāve focused on making it easier to navigate Flint, and on making it easier for new users to quickly get started with the platform.
Here are some of the major upgrades coming:
1. Home page
Now, when logging onto Flint, you'll be brought to a home page that shows you tutors that you've made, tutors that you've interacted with, or new tutors shared in groups that you're in.
2. AI tutor templates
Need inspiration to get started with Flint? Now, with the introduction of templates, you can find examples of AI tutors that other teachers have created and shared with the wider Flint community. Search for templates to find and use one you like, or customize it to your liking.
3. New location for the default tutor
The default tutor on Flint has been moved from the top right to a widget in the bottom right, in order to make it easier to seamlessly use.
4. Sidebar for navigation
A collapsible sidebar now houses admin controls as well as a list of all the groups that you're in within your school.
Updated PD Resources
Weāve also updated our tutorials and PD materials to reflect these changes! Check them out below:
